Dr Orla Watters, RCSI presents PD-MitoQUANT study at the SfN 2019 meeting in Chicago

PD-MitoQUANT researcher Dr. Orla Watters from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland presented a poster entitled: The effects of local energetic stress on mitochondrial transport in primary cortical axons at the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) 2019 conference in Chicago, IL, USA. Other authors contributing to the study poster were N. M. C. Connolly, H-G. König, H. Düssmann, and J. H. M. Prehn. The SfN meeting took place from October 19th – 23rd.  The Society for Neuroscience is the world’s largest organization of scientists and physicians devoted to understanding the brain and the nervous system.
