Dr Patrick Pierre Michel of the Institut du Cerveau – Paris Brain Institute (ICM) will present “MODELLING ALPHA-SYNUCLEIN AGGREGATION AND NEURODEGENERATION WITH FIBRIL SEEDS IN PRIMARY CULTURES OF DOPAMINERGIC NEURONS” and Noemi Asfogo, PhD candidate at the ICM will present “STUDYING MITOPHAGY IN NEURONAL MODELS OF ALPHA-SYNUCLEINOPATHY WITH THE FLUORESCENT MITOROSELLA REPORTER” at the upcoming AD/PD22: 16th International Conference on Alzheimer’s & Parkinson’s Diseases taking place online and in Barcelona, Spain during March 15-20, 2022. This presentation will entail a paper (onsite) and an ePoster presentation on the conference’s virtual platform.

The hybrid format will provide improved opportunities for international medical and scientific professionals to come together and discuss the latest breakthroughs in treatment, translational R&D, early diagnosis, drug development and clinical trials in Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other related neurological disorders.

A central theme of the 2022 conference will be to further advance innovative strategies in therapy and prevention, clinical trials and diagnostic markers, in order to focus on driving successful collaborations among academia and industry, leading to the development of innovative therapies and ultimately providing for a better future for patients and families affected by neurodegenerative diseases.
