Two PD-MitoQUANT research abstracts have been accepted for presentation at the 13th FENS Forum of Neuroscience to be held in Paris, France on the 9th through the 13th of July 2022.
The first will be presented by our partners at the Institut de Cerveau (ICM) and is entitled “Cultured mouse dopaminergic neurons as a model system to study alpha-Synuclein aggregation and neurodegeneration in Parkinson’s disease” by researchers and is the work of Patrick Pierre Michel, Aurore Tourville, David Akbar, Olga Corti, Jochen H M Prehn, Ronald Melki, and Stephane Hunot. The second is “Systems modelling of mitochondrial bioenergetics to explore molecular defects contributing to pathogenesis in Parkinson’s” and will be presented by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland researchers Niamh Connolly and Sandeep Chenna. This poster represents the work of Sandeep Chenna, Ronald Melki, Tina Charlotte Stummann, Karina Fog, Katarina Willen, Orla Watters, Marko Kostic, Franziska Walter, Heiko Dussmann Jochen H.M. Prehn, and Niamh M. C. Connolly.
