Post-doc Dr Shruti Desai of the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre (RUMC) and Sandeep Chenna of the RCSI will present PD-MitoQUANT research at the 2022 Dutch Translational Metabolism Conference, which will be held in Wageningen on June 13th and 14th (https://www.translationalmetabolism.nl/). Shruti’s poster is titled: PD-MitoQUANT: Quantification of Mitochondrial Morphofunction in hiPSC- derived Cortical Neurons. Sandeep’s is titled: Systems modelling of mitochondrial bioenergetics and genome scale metabolic modelling to explore molecular defects contributing to pathogenesis in Parkinson’s.

The aim of the Dutch Translational Metabolism Conference is to bridge the gap between fundamental research, application in humans and validation at the population level. By assembling all junior and senior metabolic experts, this meeting aims to create more insight into the prevention and/or treatment of metabolic diseases.
