PD-MitoQUANT researchers take part in Parkinson’s UK online conference

The theme of the 2-day 2020 Parkinson's-UK conference was "Accelerating research and improving care." Keynote lectures were delivered live from around the world. Several researchers from PD-MitoQUANT partner organisations were involved. Dr Shruti Desai, Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Center features in latest Neuronet campaign

Dr Shruti Desai is a postdoctoral researcher and Cellular Bioenergetics group member at Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Center within the Radboud Center for Mitochondrial Medicine (RCMM). Neuronet launches campaign: “The value of public-private collaboration & findings highlights”

Parkinson’s UK hosts Research Conference 2020

Our partner Parkinson's UK is hosting an online research conference on September 24th and 25th, 2020. The 2020 theme is "Accelerating research and improving care". This is a CPD-accredited entirely online meeting held over two days. Keynote lectures will be delivered live from around the world. RCSI team publishes PD-MitoQUANT study in Journal of Neuroscience

The RCSI, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland team comprised of Orla Watters, Niamh M. C. Connolly, Hans-Georg König, Heiko Duessmann and Jochen Prehn published a PD-MitoQUANT-acknowledged paper in the Journal of Neuroscience. The study entitled: AMPK preferentially depresses retrograde transport of axonal mitochondria during localised nutrient deprivation appeared online on May 11th 2020. DOI: https://doi.org/10.1523/jneurosci.2067-19.2020 Congratulations to the entire team! This is the seventh on the growing list of PD-MitoQUANT-acknowledged publications. New PD-MitoQUANT study published by CNRS researchers

Congratulations to Maya Bendifallah, Virginie Redeker, Elodie Monsellier, Luc Bousset*, Tracy Bellande, and Ronald Melki* for the publication of their recent study entitled: Interaction of the chaperones alpha B-crystallin and CHIP with fibrillar alpha-synuclein: Effects on internalization by cells and identification of interacting interfaces. The paper appeared in the journal Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications on May 17, 2020. This is the sixth PD-MitoQUANT-referenced paper.
