The “Parkinson’s Research in Ireland” seminar series 2.0 took place on April 8th and 15th, 2021. Both sessions were chaired by Dr Niamh Connolly of the RCSI University of Medicine & Health Science (formerly Royal College of Surgeons Ireland). Team PD-MitoQUANT raises funds and runs for Parkinson’s Association of Ireland

A team of Irish women involved in the PD-MitoQUANT project completed the Vhi Virtual Women’s Mini-Marathon to benefit the Parkinson’s Association of Ireland (https://www.parkinsons.ie/). Partners at the RCSI, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Pintail Limited coordinated their efforts on October 2, 2020.  To date, €770 was raised by the PD-MitoQUANT team. Dr Shruti Desai, Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Center features in latest Neuronet campaign

Dr Shruti Desai is a postdoctoral researcher and Cellular Bioenergetics group member at Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Center within the Radboud Center for Mitochondrial Medicine (RCMM). Our partner Parkinson's UK is hosting an online research conference on September 24th and 25th, 2020. The 2020 theme is "Accelerating research and improving care".
